Home life

the bright side…

Oh my goodness.  It’s as though the sickness will never end.  Here we are almost three weeks out from Talitha’s birth and we are still fighting the yuckies.  It’s 4:22 am.  I’ve already treated one for a high fever and I’ve showered another who threw up.  We’re in ‘divide and conquer mode’ which basically means daddy takes the recliner and the puker gets the loveseat while baby, fever child and I get the bed.  Now I’m waiting for the washer to stop (gotta wash all those nasty bed sheets) so I can go back to sleep.  Probably about the time the baby wakes up to eat.

*sigh*  At least we don’t have get doctor’s excuses to keep them all home Monday.

Hang in there, my sister! (I'm home with Wilson today, too.) You're gonna make it girl! Sounds like no fun times 12, but ohh.. to have a newborn in the house again. **sigh**

    The Lord is good!

    Love you!

We missed you guys today at church :-(. I have a bunch of homeschool questions for you when you guys are all well

Ugh…been there, done that! Seems like the most memorable pukefest was when Dad and all four boys had it – I did nothing but clean up barf for days.

And then, once I'd nursed everyone else to health, I got it! Seems like that year we went seven weeks straight without our whole family at church – either all missed or one parent was there with whoever was well.

I will be at the shop tomorrow – let me know if I can bring you anything while I am out running around – I will set it on the step, ring the bell and run! 😛
