My new planner …

My new planner is finally done!  I’ve just started filling it and so far it’s going alright.  I can see where improvements would be nice but that’s expected.  One can always improve.

Stash busting planner!

This project was seriously a stash-buster.  It had me digging through kits, paper holders, drawers, boxes.  I threw a bunch of random papers together for this one and I actually love how it turned out – not really anything like what I had in mind when I started.  I wanted to go in a completely different direction, color-wise, but I eventually stopped fighting it and just went with the flow.  I ended up with something darker in color and more linear.

Here’s a list of the patterned papers.  I saved as many of the item #’s or names as I could.

  • Teresa Collins – He Said She Said, He Said: Quotes Paper – item# HSS101
  • Fancy Pants – Memories Captured, Memories- item# 1954
  • Crate Paper – Crate Avenue Collection, Trendy item # AV192
  • Echo Park – All About A Boy, Games item# AAB44008
  • Echo Park – All About A Boy, Rough & Tough item# AAB44004
  • Scenic Route Paper Co. – Cape Town, Roeland item# SR274
  • Scenic Route Paper Co. – Cape Town, Adderley Floral item# SR268
  • Basic Grey – hipster, hip item # hip-4099
  • Basic Grey – hipster, jive item# hip-4094
  • Basic Grey – bow ties, freeze tag item# kne-4152
  • My Mind’s Eye – Chalk Studio, Happy Day item# CS1004
  • My Mind’s Eye – Lost & Found, Portobello Road, Family item# LF1024
  • American Crafts – Dear Lizzy, Lucky Charm, Falling Star item# 35976
  • American Crafts – Amy Tangerine, Ready Set Go, Coffee Break- item# 35768

I also used the following embellishments:

  • Dear Lizzy + American Crafts Adhesive Badges
  • Basic Grey – Capture, Mini Snippets Journal
  • Lost & Found Record It collection ( I used several quotes from this collection)
  • We R Memory Keepers – Bracket tabs & punch
  • K & Company – Engraved Garden, Ephemera Pack
  • Tim Holtz – hitch fasteners
  • Tim Holtz – Idea-ology 2-ring binder
  • Hobby Lobby – Explorer clock pendant

Inks:

  • Ranger Distress Inks – Black Soot, Broken China
  • Stampin’ Up! – Real Red, Night of Navy, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Yoyo Yellow, Summer Fun
