Giveaways Home life The Homeschool Project

Our backyard critters giveaway winners…

Well, I must say, you guys know your backyard critters! And many of you don’t like them! LOL

Our little woodchuck friends are enjoying their home under the shed and until they disrupt too many things (they have made their way into the shed now) they’ll be welcome to stay there. Woodchucks are also known as groundhogs and some call them whistlepigs – this one I had never heard before!

My son, Zion, chose our random winner for the $5.00 Currclick.com gift certificate and the winner is…

JANET WORKMAN!!!

Come to find out, Janet doesn’t live too far from us (we’re in the St. Louis, MO area)and says that her parents have had one living in their yard for several years.

We got some great name suggestions too!

Sheri suggested Phillipia and Jr. Phil

Tammy suggested Rolly and Polly or Woody and Shadow (I loved Rolly and Polly, by the way)

Amy suggested Bill and Billy

And my kids thought and thought, read and re-read the suggestions and of course went with something completely different. Kids! Our little critters are to be known as PB and J. = )

Thanks to all for playing along. Congrats to Janet on winning the gift certificate!

Hang around this week as I cover another lapbook and homemade playdough! Oh and don’t forget to check out our workbox setup.

Until then,

Sara O’

I just placed my Currclick order & used the gift certificate! My 11 yos will be starting Apologia's General Science this year, so I got the lapbook to go along with the curriculum. When we get started, I'll be sure to post some pictures on my blog.

that's great, Janet! I can't wait to see. A friend of mine has used Apologia and loved it. I've been thinking about trying it out for myself, I've heard so many good things about it. And anything you can get a lapbook for… well I'll definitely try! lol
