Hello my lovies! I’ve been painting, painting, painting away. I have a process video to share with you today of a mixed media project called Adventure. I’ve had requests for these type of videos so I decided to give it a go. If you watch the video, please let me know how you liked it! Every painting I do tends to be a big surprise for myself as I almost exclusively paint intuitively. Usually I’ll start out with a vague idea or maybe a specific color or piece of paper and then everything else just kind of happens. Having no expectations allows me great freedom to accept every stroke as it comes and see it as a contribution to the whole painting rather than as a mistake. This is a very helpful practice in life as well. You should give it a try and see if your days get a little brighter. =)
